This includes both standard and customized backplane solutions, each one being produced in fully integrated manufacturing plants. Prior to shipment, all products undergo comprehensive mechanical testing and electronic performance verification according to widely recognized industry standards and customer specifications.

Harting ruggedised Ethernet switches for demanding environments

FAST Benelux presents a range of managed Ethernet switches in the Harting Ha-VIS mCon 7000 series.

The new Harting ruggedised Ethernet switches are equipped with additional functionalities including filtering prioritisation and redundancy to build up convergent and managed networks in harsh industrial environments.

These managed switches allow connection of up to 10 end-units according to switch type over IEC 802.3 Twisted-Pair cabling.

Harting’s new managed Ethernet switches are suitable for application in mines, renewable energy installations such as wind farms and geothermal plants, military systems and industrial automation.

Han-RJ45-Modul für hohe Übertragungsraten mit bis zu 10 GBit/s

Für die Harting-Baureihe Han-Modular steht jetzt ein neues Kat.-6-Ethernet-Modul zur Verfügung, das nach Bekunden des Herstellers den Anforderungen nach immer höheren Übertragungsraten gerecht wird.

Mit dem offenen Steckverbindersystem Han-Modular könnten Anwender ihren Steckverbinder nach eigenen Wünschen zusammenstellen. Laut Hersteller stehen über 40 verschiedene Module für elektrische, optische und pneumatische Übertragung zur Verfügung. Das bisherige RJ45-Ethernet-Modul wurde nun weiterentwickelt, um Datenraten bis zu 10 GBit/s zu übertragen. Ein weiteres Feature sei eine sehr hohe mechanische Stabilität, die Anwendungen mit hohen mechanischen Anforderungen gerecht wird.

Harting – Industrial PCB connectors with built-in transformers

Harting has extended its RJ Industrial(R) RJ45 connector family by introducing a range of PCB jacks with built-in transformers.

The highly compact dimensions of the RJ45 connectors enable convenient and simple integration into all established IP 65/67 interface types, from PushPull to Han 3A.

The reduced height of the new devices is also an advantage in scenarios involving plug-in cards, allowing the realisation of very low-profile assemblies and modules. The first products to be introduced are versions for 10/100Mbit/s and 1Gbit/s transmission speeds, while versions for PoE as well as individual adaptations to specific customer wishes are planned and can be rapidly executed.

For designs incorporating surface-mount LEDs on the printed circuit board, integrated light pipes enable signalling of the port status.

These industry standard female connectors can be processed by all standard soldering methods such as wave soldering or SMT reflow, says the company.
